Pastores was founded by the conqueror Don Pedro de Alvarado and Contreras for raising sheep and lambs, which were cared by their neighbors and where its name came from here. It is known for its leather boots, the pottery, wood, and coffee production.

Antique wooden panels anchor the two double beds. Each clad in crisp cream and embellished by hand-embroidered pillows with maroon-colored quetzal motifs. In the bath, natural light from the skylights above illuminates the spacious shower.
