Located in front of our hotel, the Capuchin Convent was the last convent built in Antigua before the city’s destruction in 1773. This cloister is unique both in its architecture and the way it was run Built in 1736 by the distinguished architect Diego de Porres.
Tucked away at the end of a brick-vaulted hallway lies Capuchinas, crisp and modern in white and turquoise. This spacious room provides a king-sized wrought iron bed, candle chandelier and generous bathroom. Outside, a tranquil patio complete with lion’s head wall fountain and bubbling Jacuzzi.
